Employees are tuning out and leaning back. Global engagement scores have dropped during the COVID pandemic. As of 2021 in the U.S., only 36% of employees are engaged in their workplace, according to Gallup. Globally, the global percentage of engaged employees is even lower at 20%. 

That’s bad news for your business. Gallup found that 15% percent of workers were actively disengaged in June 2021. Of disengaged employees, 74% are either actively looking for a new gig or watching for open roles.
