About
I am a renowned expert and physician in hormone replacement therapy (HRT/TRT) and optimization, age management, and preventative medicine. With decades of experience, I have developed innovative methods in HRT, achieving remarkable success in improving patients’ overall well-being. By focusing on the root causes of aging and hormonal imbalances, I ensure patients not only feel younger but also live healthier, more fulfilling lives. I am also co-founder of The Society of Proactive Medicine, an independent, non-profit coalition of leading multi-disciplinary physicians and healthcare professionals. The Society’s mission is to raise the standard of care in hormone medicine by replacing outdated narratives with current, physiology-based science, creating the first comprehensive, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for men and women and by addressing gaps in clinical education. Equipping the public with transparent, evidence-based guidance, the Society aims to improve metabolic health, reduce disease, and support proactive, patient-centered health. The Society prioritizes individualized BHRT based on high-quality medical research and expert clinical practice. I have been featured as an expert in a number of media publications and podcasts including The Male Room Podcast, the BLISS Business Podcast and in Authority Magazine/Medium.com on how medical practices can use digital transformation to provide better care. I also write bylined columns on Forbes.com, and am a regular guest on Wellness Wednesdays, a lifestyle segment on WCNC-TV in Charlotte.

Healthcare organizations have long been rewarded for consistency. Clinical protocols, regulatory oversight and quality standards are designed to reduce variation because mistakes can have life-changing consequences. Yet the same structures that protect patients can also discourage experimentation, making it difficult for organizations to improve care delivery, adopt new technologies or rethink outdated processes.Leading health systems are increasingly recognizing that innovation and patient safety are not opposing goals. Rather, the most successful organizations establish clear guardrails that allow teams to test new ideas in controlled environments, measure outcomes rigorously and scale only what proves effective. Research from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has consistently shown that organizations with stronger patient safety cultures encourage communication, organizational learning and continuous improvement while reducing preventable harm.Members of the Senior Executive Healthcare Think Tank bring perspectives spanning clinical medicine, medical technology, digital health, systems engineering, patient experience and healthcare operations. Below, they share how healthcare organizations can move beyond a fear of failure by combining strong governance, data-driven decision-making and structured experimentation to advance innovation while maintaining patient trust.
