Our Website, in general, is not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any information to or on the Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Our Website is for the use of residents of the United States and this Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures in the United States.  Regardless of where you live, by using the Websites or engaging with us while within the United States, you consent to have your personal data transferred, processed, and stored in the United States, and allow us to use and collect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  If you live outside the United States, we may host a website or application designed for use in your jurisdiction and we encourage you to use that website or application.  

Our Website is for the use of residents of the United States and is not intended for residents of the European Union or for the monitoring of the activities of European residents’ behavior as far as that behavior takes place within the European Union.  We are not located in the European Union and do not intend to be subject to any provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). If Senior Executive Media contacts you regarding subscribing to its newsletter or other publications that its sends to Users periodically (the “Newsletter Subscription”), you will have the right to either opt in to the Newsletter Subscription or opt-out to the Newsletter Subscription by providing certain information.  You have the right to (i) opt out of the Newsletter Subscription at any time or (ii) restrict the use of your personal information pursuant to applicable law at any time by submitting such opt out or restriction at seniorexecutive.com/first-five/ or by email to editor@seniorexecutive.com or in writing to Senior Executive Media, P.O. Additionally We may use third-party service providers to monitor and analyze the use of the Website including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Hubspot.  Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js,analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt-out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change portions of your personal information by logging into the Website and visiting your account profile page.  It is your responsibility to keep your personal information updated and provide us with any changes to your personal information. 

You may also send an email to the Senior Executive Media Contact with the subject line “Change Personal Information” to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your User account and membership. We may not accommodate a request to change information if We believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or, in our opinion, cause the information to be incorrect.  We also may not be able to delete any information that may be stored on backup tapes as it may not be possible to delete a portion of a backup tape without destroying the entire backup.
