Editor’s Note: This piece was originally published by Sophia Wu in May 2023 and has since been updated by Kimberly Valentine.

If you are an executive working in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), attending a DEI conference is a great way to strengthen and leverage your professional development, no matter what industry you work in or where you are in your career.

There are a range of options out there, from events focused on employee resource groups (ERGs), diversity-related strategies, and broad topics for chief diversity officers (CDOs) to those targeting more niche communities and specific topics and strategies.

Some of the best DEI conferences emphasize various trainings, webinars, and other resources that can amplify issues confronting the DEI space. They can also offer various workshops, speakers, and panels to help you learn inclusive behaviors to model for their teams. Plus, they provide opportunities for you to network with and learn from other DEI leaders.

With all that in mind, we curated this list of annual DEI conferences happening in 2023, in order by date. Even if this year’s event has passed, you may want to note it for next year.
